Today, and today only, I celebrate my first anniversary of turning 25. I can honestly say it’s the weirdest age I’ve encountered. It’s no milestone, it’s not even a number that’s divisible by a cool number. I can’t say I am celebrating my 13th birthday, for the second time. That’s just weird.

I haven’t been more acutely aware that I have the greatest friends…ever. I woke up to over 60 emails from Facebook with notifications that I have people writing on my wall and through out the day 50-60 more posts. Sure, there are people that you ‘call’ friends and they are writing on your wall because they have the notifications, but these were ALL people that I actually speak to, regularly.

So, I am thankful for those friends. I love you all and to them I leave this Haiku:

Cool, hot, thick and thin.
Friends have reasons to stay near.
Make sure your friends know.
